NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Early voting in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District reached 74,694 ballots through Tuesday, according to new data from the Secretary of State. Early voting ends Wednesday, with final totals for Nov. 26 expected Thursday morning.

The district reported 11,489 votes on Tuesday, the highest single-day total of the period. Participation increased across most counties, including the district’s largest population centers.

Davidson County recorded 2,450 votes on Tuesday, bringing its cumulative total to 17,979. Davidson now accounts for about 24 percent of all early votes cast. While its daily totals have been steady, the county’s overall share remains short of the levels Democrats typically need to offset turnout in the district’s more Republican counties. That gap has persisted for more than a week, with no observable change in the districtwide balance.

Montgomery County added 2,408 votes Tuesday for a total of 17,585. Davidson and Montgomery together now make up nearly half of the district’s early vote. Their combined pace has remained relatively even throughout the early-voting period.

Williamson County reported 2,201 votes on Tuesday, lifting its cumulative total to 12,994. Williamson is one of the strongest Republican counties in TN-7, and its sustained turnout adds to the advantage for GOP-leaning areas heading into the final day.

Several rural counties posted some of their highest daily totals of the period. Dickson recorded 1,132 votes on Tuesday, Cheatham reported 1,041, and Robertson added 903. These counties make up a substantial portion of the districtwide total and have historically favored Republican candidates.

With one day remaining, the shape of the early vote has not meaningfully shifted. Davidson’s totals, while steady, remain too low relative to district benchmarks to counterbalance the higher turnout coming from Williamson, Montgomery and the rural counties. Those areas — which have historically broken strongly for Republican candidates — continue to make up a larger share of the early vote, reinforcing a turnout profile that leans toward the GOP heading into the final day of early voting.

The Secretary of State will release the Nov. 26 totals on Thursday. Election Day is Tuesday, Dec. 2.
